Noppol Milinthanggoon, RATCH managing director
Noppol Milinthanggoon has been appointed as the managing director of Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Plc (RATCH) since October 1, 2008.
Noppol Milinthanggoon, 55, has many years of experiences in the electricity generating industry as he started his career at the state-run Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in 1975, working for the Nuclear and Technology Division.
He had later held several key positions at EGAT before being the assistant governor for Thermal Power Plant Construction, overseeing the construction of all EGAT thermal power plants.
During more than 30 years of experiences at EGAT, he played a vital role in power project development and engineering management for the Mae Moh thermal power plant in Lampang Province, the Bangpakong thermal power plant in Chachoengsao Province and other major thermal power plants operated by EGAT.
Noppol has been widely recognised as Thailand’s power plant engineering and electricity generation expert and his extensive knowledge and experience has led him to RATCH’s position.
Noppol Milinthanggoon received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (second class honor) and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Technology, the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
