THAI increases Chiang Mai flights during New Year holidays

Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) will put more flights on service for the route between Bangkok and Chiang Mai to meet passengers’ demand during New Year’s holidays. 
ACM Narongsak Sangapong, THAI’s executive vice president, today said that due to high travel demand during the New Year’s holidays, THAI will operate two more flights per day between Bangkok and the northern city of Chiang Mai during December 26-31.

On December 26, the additional flights will be TG8716 from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai, 11 am to 12.10 pm, and TG8717 from Chiang Mai to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 1 pm to 2.10 pm. But from December 27 to 31, the additional flights will be TG8712 from Don Mueang Airport to Chiang Mai, 10.45 am to 11.55 am, and TG8713 from Chiang Mai to Don Mueang Airport, 12.45 pm to 1.55 pm.

Usually, THAI operates three daily flights from Don Mueang Airport to Chiang Mai and three flights back to Don Mueang, and six daily flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai and six flights back to Suvarnabhumi.
